Psychologists' fees are set in accordance with the Psychologist's Association of Alberta and are billed at a rate of $220/hour.

Health Insurance Coverage & Medical Expense Tax Credits

Alberta Health Care does not currently cover psychological services, however, your fees are covered under most individual insurance plans. Check to see your plan's specific details for psychological services that may be reimbursable. If your plan offers coverage for "psychology", "psychotherapy", or "counselling", then you can use the receipt from Stride Psychology for reimbursement.

If you are not covered under an insurance plan, psychological services are also considered a tax-deductible medical expense and your receipt can be used as an official tax receipt.

Payment Options

We currently accept e-transfer, cash, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

Please note that Stride Psychology operates on a Zero Balance Policy. This means that clients are billed and pay for services on the day of each session (using the credit card on file).

Cancellation Policy

You appointment time has been exclusively reserved for you and/or your child. Because it is reserved for you, cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance and missed appointments are subject to a fee that is equivalent to one hour of psychological services time.
