Simren Jhuty is a Psychologist in Calgary and is registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists. She is also the Founder and Clinical Director of Stride Psychology. Simren completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and Master of Science in Applied Paediatric Neuropsychology. She has worked in private, research, hospital and educational settings, including the Calgary Board of Education. Simren has a strong understanding and knowledge of educational system policies, including Alberta Education documents on Special Education.
Throughout her education, training, and work experience, Simren has had the opportunity to work with individuals who come from diverse families, cultures, and backgrounds. Simren offers counselling to individuals to help them manage their emotions and behaviours and provides them with tools and coping skills to help improve their overall wellbeing. She also has extensive experience in conducting standardized psychological assessments for children, adolescents and adults to assess their intellectual, emotional and social functioning, as well as their academic achievement. Based on each individual’s profile, she is able to provide tailored research-based suggestions that will support them in their learning, development, well-being, and everyday life.

Snanna Virk is a Certified Professional Coach, specializing in Mental Health. She is the Founder of Kids Lead- a program that focuses on helping youth develop emotional regulation and social skills. With a background in psychology, Snanna is trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and ADHD coaching. Snanna has worked in educational, private and non-profit settings, including CanLearn Society and Hull Services. She has facilitated several mental health workshops for the City of Calgary and Calgary Board of Education.
Snanna has worked with individuals of all ages, specifically those who experience difficulty with regulating and managing their emotions, attention, and impulsivity. She also has extensive experience working with individuals who engage in self-harming behaviours. By utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, Snanna works collaboratively with her clients to help them develop effective skills in mindfulness, building relationships with others, emotional regulation and distress tolerance.
Mental Health Coaching is an evidence-based treatment focused on strengths-based support for individuals living with behavioural and mental health challenges. Tanvir Gill is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. Tanvir has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Counselling. She has experience working in school and community based settings providing supports to children, adolescents, adults and parents. Tanvir has been trained in providing counselling, consultation, and psychoeducational services to children, adolescents, adults and families struggling with ADHD, learning disabilities, and co-occuring psychological issues. She draws on a trauma-informed and neurodevelopmental framework into her understanding of the presenting concerns of the clients and families she works with.
Tanvir values creating a safe and supportive space for clients. She is a very compassionate and caring professional who understands that each client’s needs are unique. She practices from a client-centered and systemic lens and incorporates solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, and cognitive behaviour therapy in her work. She has experience with, and is passionate about working with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Tanvir mainly provides counselling services to children, adolescents and parents, but also works with adults in her areas of focus.

Pariza Fazal has been a Psychometrist in Calgary since 2021, and is currently completing a Master's of Science in School and Applied Child Psychology. Pariza's areas of specialization are ADHD, educational psychology and intervention, developmental psychobiology, as well as mental health and well-being in children and adults. Pariza has worked in private, research, and educational settings.
With over 5 years of research, crisis intervention experience, and psychometry, Pariza has developed the necessary skills and resources to establish rapport and create a warm and supportive environment during testing sessions. Pariza always aims to establish an empathetic working alliance with every client to make their journey through the assessment process as smooth as possible.
