Snanna Virk has a background in psychology and brings a thoughtful, compassionate, and structured approach to supporting individuals in building greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and lasting change.
She works primarily with adults who are navigating challenges related to emotional regulation, stress, attention, impulsivity, interpersonal relationships, and overall emotional well-being. Snanna also has experience supporting individuals with complex emotional and behavioural needs, including those engaging in self-harming behaviours.
In her work, Snanna draws on principles from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and ADHD coaching to help clients develop practical, evidence-informed skills. Her approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and goal-oriented, with a focus on helping clients build insight, strengthen coping strategies, and create meaningful, sustainable change.
Mental health coaching is a non-clinical, strengths-based service that supports individuals in working toward personal goals while navigating emotional and behavioural challenges. Snanna works collaboratively with clients to build skills in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and healthier relationship patterns within a supportive and structured framework.
She is also the Founder of Kids Lead, a program focused on helping youth develop emotional regulation and social skills. In addition, Snanna has worked in educational, private, and non-profit settings, including CanLearn Society and Hull Services, and has facilitated mental health and wellness workshops for the City of Calgary and the Calgary Board of Education.
